The Drinks
The cost of wine in Bali will blow a hole in your pocket! The government places a 400% tax on their wines so what you would pay for a $10 el cheapo bottle in Oz, will set you back around AUD $80 in Bali. You can bring your own wine and pay a corkage of USD $14 (AUD $22) per bottle. But be careful – you are only allowed to bring in 1 Litre of alcohol per person into Bali. Quick tip: Buy your bubbles before you go and hand out to guests to put in their luggage.
There are no beverage packages, so all drinks are charged on consumption. You can run a bar tab that will be charged to your room account and you can even select which drinks you would like to be used on the tab. I’ve listed some prices of the favorite drinks below to help you work out a price:
|
Beer |
IDR 20,000 (AUD $2.80) |
The Entertainment
