This is a great idea for your guests, so they won’t be waiting while you have your photos done, (and a moment for them to rave about how amazing the ceremony was!) Cocktail parties work beautifully at Malolo as their main beach overlooks the amazing South Pacific Sunset. Your group can gather on the beach and enjoy the sounds of the Serenaders enjoying a selection from the canapé menu.

The Wedding Dinner Reception

The party starts at approximately 7.00pm. See the many choices below for your wedding group. There is no standard procedure to the night so we can tailor make it to suit your requirements. A sample procedure would go something like this:

Just the Two of You

A private beachside candlelit dinner for two has been included in the Lomani Celebration package.

Treetops Restaurant

Set above the terrace and below a canopy of trees and the Fijian sky, Treetops Restaurant offers a relaxed and intimate dining experience for adults only. The area has its own bar and their acclaimed Executive Chef offers a menu of Pacific Rim cuisine with local Pacific Island influences and produce. The restaurant is usually a la carte but for sole use groups they are also able to organise set menus and buffet options depending on the group’s size.

2 to 16 guests:
Parties of this size can be accommodated with ease in the Restaurant at the same time allowing other guests to enjoy the Restaurant. Children are not permitted under these circumstances. Tables are limited to 8 guests per table to facilitate a la carte service and menu. Limited menu options for parties of this size are also available. As other guest may be dining in the restaurant at the same time speeches or excessively loud behavior is not permitted.

16 to 30 + guests:
Parties of this size tend to have more impact on a small restaurant of this nature and consequently sole use is required, allowing guests more flexibility to have speeches, music, dancing and children. For groups of this size a buffet option, two or three course menu is offered.

30 to 60 guests:
For groups of this size a selection of buffet options or a set menu is offered:
A standard charge of FJ$500 (AUD$416) applies for exclusive use of Treetops restaurant for any size group. Additional set up fees apply for private dinners and cocktail parties at alternative venues. Price available on application.

Private Buffet – Min 30 Guests

Please note a minimum of 30 people is required for a private buffet or a surcharge will apply.

Set Menu

For groups of up to 30 people a 2 or 3 course of 2 choice menus is offered set menus can be selected from the menu individually by the guest.

The Cake

Decadent chocolate Gateaux - A rich chocolate cake layered with Fijian Rum chocolate paste and covered with Belgium chocolate ganache.
Or
Ice cream bomb surprise – Layers of vanilla sponge covered strawberry chocolate and vanilla ice cream envelopes soft baked meringue.

Malolo Tropical cake – Light coconut sponge filled with tropical fruit, melba sauce, pastry cream and covered with fresh whipped chantilly cream.
Or
Banana Royal – Succulent moist banana cake smothered with fresh lime icing and crowned with coconut toffee.

Standard Wedding Cake – Covered in Roses and Frangiapani flowers garnished with white fondant icing.
Rectangle 19 inch x 12 inch FJD$150 (AUD$125)

Deluxe Wedding Cake – 2 Layers of traditional wedding cake with decadent chocolate topping with fondant frangiapani and a tropical fruit display on a 3 tier stand weaved with coconut leaves (can be done in any of the above flavors, except the Ice cream bomb surprise)
2 Layer FJD$350 (AUD$291)

Beverages

All beverages are on a consumption basis only. The beverage and wine lists are available on request. A selection of Australian and New Zealand wines are offered however these are subject to availability. Malolo Island Fiji is a fully licensed premises and BYO is not available. Prices are subject to change due to market demands and at the discretion of Management.

The Entertainment

If you want to bring your own sounds on your Ipod, Malolo can provide docking facilities free of charge. Alternatively you can book the Meke Entertainment group @ FJD$500 (AUD$416)
