The Cocktail Reception
This is a great idea for your guests, so they won’t be waiting while you have your photos done, (and a moment for them to rave about how amazing the ceremony was!) We’ve listed some sample menu’s below so you can get an idea of what’s included. It is possible to tailor make the menu’s to cater for guests needs. Receptions can be held in the glorious gardens or at the Beach Club

The Wedding Dinner Reception
The party starts at approximately 7.30pm. You will have a private dinner set up at either the Beach entrance which is a grassed area or on the beach. A private reception requires a minimum of 10 people.
There is no standard procedure to the night so we can tailor make it to suit your requirements. A sample procedure would go something like this:

Breakfast and dinners are included in your room rates at The Residence. This means that if you dine in their restaurants you will only pay a surcharge for a special menu.

Private dinner receptions are available on application depending on numbers and resort occupancy.
The Cake
The standard size cake included in the wedding package would be suitable for 4 people.

The resort is flexible with cake choices and if you have something specific in mind the chefs are very talented and may be able to arrange it. They also have a further selection of cake choice as well as the above fruit cakes.
The Drinks
The Residence will allow you to bring in your own wine and will charge a corkage fee of US17 (AUD$26) per bottle. Beverage packages at The Residence can only be offered for groups of 40 or more. Most groups from Australia are under this size so it is recommend that you run a bar tab which will be charged to your room account. If you do this you can also select what sort of alcohol is included in the tab.

If you would prefer to dance the night away with your own music the resort can provide a C.D player so you can use your own C.D’s.
