Coconuts Beach Club
Why Wedding Destinations Loves Coconuts!

So pure, Samoa’s beauty leaves you breathless. Coconuts isn’t a resort in Samoa, but Samoa in a resort. This is the kind of place one goes to have an epiphany. The Samoan experience is a living one, forcing you to realize that the Fa’a Samoa (the Samoan Way) is not just something to observe, but rather to emulate.
“Ive got a lovely bunch of coconuts diddly- dee”…
Your coconuts will be standing in a row, lined up at paying attention at the brilliance of this resort. Originally catering for the surfies of the 1980’s this resort has transformed into everything for anyone from young couples to families and back to the surfers with sun drenched skin. The resort was dreamt up by American expats who left behind mansions and sports cars in Beverly Hills, to surrender to the delights of Samoa. The laid-back atmosphere and truly amazing beaches give an island feel like no other of the south pacific. Please do try to contain yourself as you get excited over the swim up bar!
The Rooms

Garden Suites
Each spacious Garden Suite is comprised of a full-size bedroom with a king size bed, and a full size sitting room with sleeping facilities to accommodate one or two additional adults. Each bedroom and sitting room has its own en-suite, open-air bathroom (two full bathrooms!), featuring a sunken tub with lava rock “waterfall” shower. These suites each have their own, individual covered terrace area, and extensive use of beautiful slate floors, teak and bamboo furniture and local materials throughout the rooms creates a distinctive, Polynesian atmosphere.

Treehouse Rooms
Offer ocean views with jungle and treetop entrances, and recently have been remodeled. All rooms feature slate and hardwood floors and bamboo four-poster beds. The uniquely styled bathrooms, with their two-person bathtub with a view and beautiful Quartzite stone floors and walls, have also been expanded. Enormous seven meter wide decks with chaise lounges and hammocks enjoy the fabulous ocean view. These rooms are available with either one king size bed or one double bed and one twin bed.
Beach Fales

Located directly on a sandy beach, just meters from the water’s edge, these accommodations feature unique open air bathrooms with lava-rock walls and a sunken shower nestled under a private “waterfall”. Finishing touches include thatched roofs, covered terraces facing the sea & island decor. Beach Fales are one or two bedroom, one bath, and feature a split-level design with a separate sitting room. The one bedroom Fales offer a king size bed, the two bedroom a king size bed in one room and two twin beds in the other.
Royal Beach Fales

This complex of three villas is comprised of two one-storey beach villas (Villa Pule and Villa Ali’I) flanking an immense, two-storey central villa (Villa Matai). The two flanking villas each total over 600 sq. ft, including bedroom, sitting room, walk-in closet, writing alcove and large open-air style bathroom, complete with lava rock "waterfall" shower. The central fale is more than twice as spacious, and includes these same features as well as a second storey Observatory and balcony, accessed via a circular staircase, which can also serve as additional sleeping quarters.
All three villas are architecturally unique with exterior walls of the living and bedrooms constructed entirely of poles and glass, split level design, exposed-beam pole ceilings and 180 degree views enhanced with local hardwoods, finely crafted lava rock walls and beautiful quartzite tile. These villas are connected via covered bridge, and can be booked as an entire suite or individually, making it perfect for anything from one couple to families or groups of up to ten people total.

Over the Water Fales
Situated directly over the water with fantastic panoramic views, these light and bright, one bedroom bungalows feature a king size bed, sitting area, private bathroom facilities with bathtub and separate shower, and a large outside deck. Finishing touches include thatched roofs, island decor and a glass bottom area to view the sea life.
The Restaurant & Bars
Mika’s Restaurant
The food at Mika’s is one of the reasons why Coconuts is too good to be true. The décor is open-air South Seas style under a thatched roof fale. The food is excellent and consistent (a major accomplishment at any restaurant). Try to sample everything on the menu during your stay, you’ll find fault with nothing. Disappointment is out the door and in comes the raves from diners alike. You know what they say, “empty stomach means empty soul” Yours will be singing with the birds in the sky!
Belgian waffles for breakfast anyone? Or maybe Escargot from France? International and traditional chimes together setting up the perfect menu so you can have what you want, when you want.
Glass windows surround the dining room, opening into the heavens. A circular bar gravitates to the middle and perfectly crafted furniture enhances your dining experience.
The Spa

Coco’s Beach Spa
Harnessing the healing and restorative benefits of water, heat and massage, Coco’s offers a unique spa experience to restore and rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit. Replenish and re-harmonize the body with sensory aromatherapy. Ease away your reality, let the stress melt away and feel total relaxation and inner peace co-exist inside you.
Listen to the gentle lapping of the ocean, Spa therapies include several types of massage, manicures and pedicures, facials, body mud wraps using ayurvedic herbs, Dead Sea Mineral or coconut body scrubs, and beauty treatments such as waxing and eye lash tinting. The Coco Beach Spa is being operated by Samoan Rosa Schreckenberg, who has trained in numerous overseas locations, including India and Indonesia, and who also runs her own successful day spa in Apia.
Located within an impressive outer wall constructed entirely from local lava rock are two single and one double treatment Fales. These open air, thatched roof bungalows are built in traditional Samoan style yet privately located within their own quartzite stone and luminescent wall enclosures. The combination of this traditional Samoan open-fale design with the serenity of contemporary shoji-style privacy screening creates an incomparably quiet and restful ambiance.
The spacious spa grounds also feature a mini-gecko shaped heated spa pool and private outdoor shower. Incorporated within the spa compound is a separate, dedicated, hardwood floor yoga room with full ocean views.
