The Cocktail Reception
The additional guest charge at Sunrocks of EUR 20 (AUD$33) per person will include Champagne and additional cake portions for the guests. So it is not necessary to pay extra for the pre dinner cocktail reception.
If you would like to supply finger food before the reception dinner Sunrocks can provide you with this. They can arrange a mini buffet with finger food and tartlets before you leave for the reception dinner at EUR 15 (AUD$25) per person
The Wedding Dinner Reception
The Sunrocks Resort is a small boutique resort with a restaurant that can cater for 6 people. There are many gorgeous taverns and stunning cliff top restaurants that can cater for reception dinners in Santorini. Wedding Destinations recommends The Sphinx and below we have listed your reception dinner options.
The party starts at approximately 7.00pm. Sphinx restaurant has many terraces on various levels so enjoy a different view on each (they are all stunning!). Groups are seated on any one of them depending on their size. They will try to keep the groups in privacy. The private terraces have a minimum of 20 guests unless it is low season April, May or October. These are usually served in the lower terrace which can cater for up to 45 guests. This is connected to the Party room.
The Party room is inside as they do not want to disrupt the hotels nearby. If you would like the dinner to be inside the inside seating can serve up to 70 people. If you have under the minimum requirement for a private terrace but would still like to have one there is a minimum spend of EUR 1000 (AUD$1670).
There is no standard procedure to the night so we can tailor make it to suit your requirements. A sample procedure would go something like this:

Set Menu
Sphinx offers Fixed Wedding Menu’s from EUR 72 (AUD$120) per person. This includes wedding cake and champagne toast.
There are 5 fixed menus to choose from but you can also change or make a menu of your own and they will arrange a price according to your requirements.
Decorations of the venue
Sphinx will decorate only the party room. If you would like table decorations they can arrange something simple like a rose tied on each napkin with a satin bow for EUR 5 (AUD$8). Or their main table centre pieces start at EUR 50 (AUD$83). We can tailor make each wedding to the individual’s requirements.
The Cake
A wedding cake is included in the Dinner Menu. This cake is a standard in 1, 2 or 3 layers according to the number of guests and usually there is more than enough to go around. The filling can either be cream, chocolate or strawberry or a combination of all. The layer is always white glaze. For decoration they use fabric flowers but you can opt for real flowers at a charge.
The Drinks
The only option for drinks is a beverage package but they are very reasonable. Due to Greek law you are not permitted to bring your own alcohol to the restaurant.
The drinks package includes: open local white and red wine, Greek beer Mythos, refreshments and bottle water (unlimited consumption!)

If you would prefer to dance the night away with your own music the resort has the ipod docking facilities and you should just rent the In-house sound system.
