The Cocktail Reception
This is a great idea for your guests, so they won’t be waiting while you have your photos done, (and a moment for them to rave about how amazing the ceremony was!) We’ve listed some sample menu’s below so you can get an idea of what’s included. It is possible to tailor make the menu’s to cater for guests needs. The reception will be held in the gardens or beach.
The Anantara have put together a special 1 hour pre dinner drinks and canapés selection as below:
One hour of Canapés (minimum of 10 persons)
THB 300 (AUD$10) per person
Or
One hour of standard open bar with light snacks for sunset cocktails
THB 950 (AUD$33) per person
The Wedding Dinner Reception
The party starts at approximately 7.00pm. You will have a private dinner set up at either the Beach or garden. A private reception requires a minimum of 10 people. There is no standard procedure to the night so we can tailor make it to suit your requirements. A sample procedure would go something like this:

The Cake
The standard size cake is 5 pounds and it is suitable for 15-20 people. The resort hosts its very own pastry chef, so if you’ve a particular design, flavor, colour or decoration, we can certainly do our best to have it custom made for you.
The Drinks
The cost of wine in Thailand will blow a hole in your pocket! The government places a 400% tax on their wines so what you would pay for a $10 el cheapo bottle in Oz, will set you back around AUD$80 in Thailand. You can bring your own wine and pay a corkage of THB 800 (AUD$28) per bottle. But be careful – you are only allowed to bring in 1 litre of alcohol per person into Thailand. Quick tip: Buy your bubbles before you go and hand out to guests to put in their luggage.
Below is some Beverage packages put together for your ease. You can also decide to run a bar tab which will be charged to your room account. If you do this you can also select what sort of alcohol is included in the tab.

If you would prefer to dance the night away to your own sounds, the resort has docking facilities so be your own DJ and bring the ipod along!
