Phuket & Krabi

Where is Phuket?
Dubbed as the pearl of the South, Phuket’s stunning backdrop of blue skies, powdery white sand and crystal clear waters can be found. Phuket is on the west cost of Thailand and linked by a bridge to the mainland. Bangkok is about an hour and a half flight away.
Fast facts
Phuket is Thailand’s most populous, most visited, most varied, most electric and lastly most exciting island. Temperatures are usually above 30 degrees and September is the drizzliest month for rain. Population is around 320,000 and is tearing at the seams with like-minded travellers looking for a great getaway.
Beaches
Patong beach is the main touristy, atmospheric and happening area. Although it’s crowded and dense, Patong really is the centre of entertainment where you get to party and play all day and night. Cosmopolitan bars and cafes are plentiful as with food stalls and activities abundant. Patong really comes to life after dark and can be a tad overwhelming along Bangla Road.
Visit Karon, Kata and Kata Noi beaches for a relief from the hustle and bustle of Patong.

What to do in Phuket
Phuket’s irresistible array of seafood restaurants, great nightlife and shopping options are endless; we are sure you will want to stay longer! And as the sun sets on a new day and you reflect upon your new memories, the nightlife of Patong is just waking up.
Phang Na Bay and the mysterious limestone rocks jutting of the Andaman Sea are just one of the Must do’s whilst in Phuket.
The infamous James Bond Island will have you standing on the beach like Roger Moore and Christopher Lee chorusing, “its bond.. James bond”. And Why not take a kayak for the day and explore the many caves of the bay and stop for a seafood lunch at a little overwater floating village.
Do not forget to see the light and sound, Simon Cabaret show and the lady boys for a giggle!
Why we love Phuket!
One of Asia’s premier beach resorts, Phuket is by far our most popular wedding destination as you are spoilt for choice; whether it’s a ceremony with Thai dancers escorting you to the altar, or baby elephants as your guests, Phuket will deliver it all.
The immaculate attention to detail that the Thai people have is extraordinary, and you can be assured your wedding day will run to perfection. The Resorts we use are second to none and have many years of experience in arranging western weddings.
KRABI
Located on the mainland, Krabi is a coastal town rich in history. The magical beaches and mountainous highlands are much regarded as reasons to explore the area. Situated about 176kms from Phuket, Krabi is the countries oldest continual settlement; history is written all over Krabi with remains of beads, pottery and tools of early trade being found amongst the cliffs and caves. History buffs will be delighted with the Krabi Art Museum.
How do I get there?
Krabi has an international airport with direct flights from Bangkok scheduled daily. You can take a private car from Phuket, although it is quite lengthy. There is a regular direct bus service from Bangkok for about THB500 ($17) that can get you to Krabi, although we recommend paying that little extra to upgrade to coach that will make the 10 hour drive just that bit more comfortable!
For the beach worshippers

A treasure trove of exotic beaches not yet spoilt by tourists who come here, high rise beach hotels are non existent, as is the swarming crowds bunched on the beach. Towering limestone cliffs jutting from the bay conceal caves that have been used by Asian pirates for centuries to hide their mother loads. Crystal waters gently caress the shores, tropical shrubbery line the outskirts and long boats float atop the water across the bay. The feel of Krabi truly is awe-inspiring. Ao Nang is the town’s most popular beach, where most resorts are located and just minutes from Krabi town.
Shop me. Wine me. Dine me!
Shopping is good although not as extensive as the northern regions, the range of night life is satisfying, and you’ll find some clubs, bars and pool houses along the town’s streets. Restaurants are abundant serving pretty much everything, Thai and western.
