This is a great idea for your guests, so they won’t be waiting while you have your photos done, (and a moment for them to rave about how amazing the ceremony was!)

You can choose a selection of cocktails from the drinks menu or have an open bar on consumption. You can also choose to use one of the drinks packages. See the Drinks section below.

If you are marrying on Bon Island the reception dinner it totally private and the dinner can be catered for your group of guests no matter how big or small.
If you marry at the Evason Resort, they can set up a private reception area for a minimum of 40 guests. If you chose not to invite so many, a table will be set up at one of their signature restaurants specifically for your wedding reception but it will not be sole use of the restaurant.
There is no standard procedure to the night so we can tailor make it to suit your requirements. A sample procedure would go something like this:

7.00pm |
The Bride and Groom enter the venue (hooray!) |
Does a Thai Seafood cuisine tempt your taste buds? Or maybe a selection of International dishes? It’s your reception and you can have the choice of either. Opt for a semi-formal set menu or a buffet dinner for a more casual experience, although buffets do require a minimum of 30 guests.
Menus start from THB1500 - THB2500 (AUD$68-$114) per person depending on the type of menu and number of guests.
The Cake
The standard size cake is 3 pounds and it is suitable for 3-5 guests. You have a choice of yummy flavors like chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, fruit cake, coffee, and cheese cake. If you have a specific design in mind, the resort will strive to find the right decorations to make your dream cake come alive, at no additional charges!
The Drinks
The cost of wine in Thailand will blow a hole in your pocket! The government places a 400% tax on their wines so what you would pay for a $10 el cheapo bottle in Oz, will set you back around AUD$80 in Thailand. You can bring your own wine and pay a corkage of THB770 (AUD$35) per bottle. But be careful – you are only allowed to bring in 1 litre of alcohol per person into Thailand.
