If you want a wedding everyone wants to know about we recommend Las Vegas
We had spoken about getting married overseas, but found the prospect daunting as we were not sure where to start and there was a lot of information on the internet to digest.
We decided to incorporate a four week holiday in the US with our wedding. Once we decided on Las Vegas – the question was where in Vegas would we get married? There are a lot of wedding chapels in Vegas. Wedding Destinations helped us focus on what we wanted and made suggestions and gave us good advice for both our day and our holiday.
For our wedding we chose the package with the 36 photos and the larger bouquet which we both thought was good value for money. We highly recommend paying the extra for the video to be uploaded onto the chapel’s website so your family and friends back in Australia can see your wedding.
Prior to our wedding day we visited the chapel to introduce ourselves and to have a look at the chapel itself. The chapel is situated a couple of blocks from the strip and is quaint and not tacky. The chapel staff recommended we organise our marriage license before our Wedding Day as sometimes there is a long wait at the registry office. Our service was held in the special memory chapel which was bright. The actual wedding service was short but dignified.
Our wedding day was stress free and was everything we wanted and more from winning money on the “Elvis slot machines on our wedding night” to having the man selling timeshare singing “she’s going to the chapel and she’s going to get married”.
Thanks to Wedding Destinations we had a memorable day and holiday
