My husband and I had our wedding at St. Regis and we stayed there for a total of 10 days 9 nights. At first, we were worried if there was enough at the resort to keep the children entertained while still having the romantic getaway feel for my husband and I. It turned out I didn’t have to worry as the resort was able to pull off both. The resort and their beach area were wide enough that my husband and I were able to have our secluded romantic getaways with its own pool on one end of the resort. At the same time, there is a Kids’ Club and larger pool by the other end of the resort that catered more to families and children. There was something for everyone…kitesurfing, swimming, snorkeling, cinema, tennis, gym, horseback riding, kids’ club, wind surfing, etc.

As soon as we arrived at St. Regis, the pampering began with a refreshing welcome drink and a brief buggy ride to our suite where our butler made the check-in quick and easy. Our honeymoon suite (635) was beyond compare from the décor to the beautiful sunset view. Since our suite was located at the end of the beach, we loved the secluded private feel to our room and beach area. During our stay, we tried four of the five restaurants at the resort. The food at each of the restaurants was beautifully presented and tasted incredible. Our only regret was that we didn’t have time to try Simply India.

As for the service, everyone was so friendly and attentive that we felt like a king and queen. We were greeted with a smile and by name everywhere we went. We have a lot of people to thank for making our wedding and stay memorable. Our butler was extremely helpful whenever we needed him and quick with recommendations and reservations. Our on-site planner, Kristina, did a great job making sure our wedding was perfect and just the way we wanted. Kristina and our photographer, Karl, were very flexible and quick on their feet even when we added a tea ceremony to the wedding at the last minute. The staff at Kids’ Club was very sweet and caring looking after our nieces and nephew and teaching them different lessons every day from painting to making pancakes. The woman (very embarrassed that I forgot her name) who did our hair and make-up for the wedding did an amazing job.
